A walk in the park

Here I had a go at using coloured pencils and watercolour together. There’s definitely more I’d like to explore with this. I’ve recently been very drawn to busy and colourful illustration scenes such as this jungle scene by Lizzy Stewart and pretty much everything by Mouni Feddag. My walk in the park seems very timid in comparison to these exciting and busy pictures!

    1. Drawing is totally a learned skill. There are just too many things in the world to have time to practice them all. I guess I’ve gone for painting, crochet and a tiny bit of papercraft and sewing. This means I’ve never had time for music or sport and I’m totally in awe at those who can read music and make beautiful sounds :) swings and roundabouts I guess.
