geometric birthday cards

I’ve seen people using erasers to carve and print like lino so when I saw this giant eraser for 80p I thought I’d give it a try.


It was fairly easy to carve but quite flaky (you can see the roughness and “bits” in the photos below). I thought this might be a problem for the printing – making it miss spots and getting bits of rubber in it but actually it was great, printed really nicely. I don’t think it will last a long time but long enough to make these and then a few more I would think.

  1. Wow, these are so pretty! I used to have one of those erasers hanging around but never used it and chucked it. I never would have thought such cool art could be created from a big pink eraser! Now I have to buy a new one…
