Athens is packed full of churches. I found this one while searching for a postbox to send the Delphi postcards. It was a hot day and there was a little shaded spot out of the way of pedestrians so I took 20 minutes to do a little sketching. This might be my favourite of the week.
A favourite of mine too.
The consensus seems to be this is a great watercolour! Thanks for sharing.

Funny how the quick ones work out so well. Not enough time to rujn them with overworking! 😁

Exactly! That is often my downfall :)

Great quick work – what do you use to make those white lines on the windows?

Just a white gel pen. For a painting you planned on keeping / framing I suppose it would be better to scratch the lines out or I’d use acrylic ink because I don’t know how gel pen lasts or behaves long term but it’s really easy and effective when out and about with my sketchbook
