tiny stone church

This tiny stone church in the middle of Wallingford cemetery in Oxfordshire is the first entry into my new collection of church photos. Mostly, I’m drawn to the architecture of modern churches or those with unusual materials or forms and the collection will mostly be made up of that sort of thing. Occasionally though a traditional church catches my eye and this little guy is just the cutest thing. So tiny and compact but still full of interesting angles and intricately carved details. The tile pattern on the roof is wonderful. I didn’t get chance to peek inside as we walked past but I wonder just how small the space is with such thick walls.
